Yes indeed, I knew it would happen eventually. Vintage training rifle found in the trash...might be Springfield? Has gun swivels mounted on the stock. Glad I found this and not a child. I guess people do not know it is illegal to throw guns away. I believe that this is an old WWII Training rifle? I will have an expert look at it. Go figure? Not open to offers.
